William E. Heney is founding member and managing director of Heney & Associates, LLC. Mr. Heney was formerly an honors judicial clerk at the Massachusetts Land Court. Mr. Heney concentrates his practice in the area of Real Estate, Land Use, Corporate Formation and Estate Planning.  Mr. Heney counsels clients in the acquisition, disposition and financing of real estate.  Mr. Heney counsels property owners, attorneys and national title insurance companies resolve disputes relating to title of real estate in the Massachusetts Land Court and the Probate and Family Court.  He also serves as Commissioner for the Massachusetts Land Court. 

Education:
St. Michael's College (B.A., 1991); New England School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2000). Recipient, Full Merit Scholarship, 1997-2000; Deans List, 1997-2000; New England Scholar, 1998-1999; Executive Business Editor, New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement, 2000.

Interests:
In his free time, Bill enjoys fishing, watching sports, especially watching his 5 boys play.  Also, he enjoys trail running, men's league hockey, back country skiing and trips to Vermont and Florida.  Bill actively supports the Essex County Trail Association, Hamilton Foundation, Hamilton-Wenham Little League and the Accord Food Pantry.
